Using a Decoupled and Progressive Web Application Technolgy in the Fight to Support Reproductive Rights

Revolutionizing access to reproductive healthcare, the Planned Parenthood Direct app champions reproductive rights and enhances accessibility to birth control. With the aim of empowering individuals in their reproductive choices, this innovative app serves as a beacon of progress in the realm of women's health. Evolving Web worked with Planned Parenthood Direct to build a captivating yet approachable website to compel people to download the Planned Parenthood Direct app. The website was built using a decoupled architecture featuring a static front-end page using a Next.js framework and a Drupal powered backend.

Believing strongly in advancing reproductive rights, Evolving Web also worked with Action Canada to build a Progressive Web App (PWA) that can be installed on its users’ mobile devices to enable them to access the essential sexual health information right from their pockets, fostering autonomy and promoting a proactive approach to reproductive healthcare.
