User Personas & Journeys: The Value They Add (and How to Convince Others)

In this workshop, we will delve deeper into the importance of user personas and journeys in product development. They are either never created, or treated as a “one and done” - never to be looked at again. We will address the importance of why user personas and journeys should be living documents that are ever-changing based on your user’s needs.  We'll also tackle the often tricky subject of stakeholder engagement. Getting stakeholders on board with the time and effort required to create and use user personas and journeys can be a challenge. We'll share strategies for demonstrating the value and return on investment these tools can provide, helping to ensure their support for your UX efforts.Finally, we'll explore some of the tools available to UX and Product designers that can make the process of creating and using user personas and journeys more efficient and effective. By the end of this workshop, you'll have a deeper understanding of all that is available to you and how it can positively impact your organization.
